Few colors suit a Porsche 911 quite like Aventurine Green. On this 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S, the deep metallic green finish has a tremendous amount of depth and character—but getting the most out of that paint takes more than simply washing and waxing the car.

This 911 came to Dynamic Detailing in Santa Clara for a complete exterior enhancement and protection package. We performed a full paint correction, followed by Ceramic Pro Ultimate ION ceramic coating, along with our Wheel & Caliper Coating Package using Ceramic Pro 9H and Ceramic Pro Strong.

The goal wasn't simply to make this Porsche look better. It was to make it easier to keep looking this good.

Restoring the Finish with Paint Correction

Before applying any ceramic coating, the paint needs to be properly prepared.

We began with a full paint correction to refine the Porsche's factory finish and remove or reduce imperfections accumulated through washing, transportation, and everyday use.

Paint correction is an important part of the ceramic coating process because a coating is designed to enhance and protect the surface underneath it. Starting with properly corrected paint allows the Aventurine Green finish to show its full depth, gloss, and clarity.

Once the correction was complete, the Porsche was ready for its next layer of protection.

Ceramic Pro Ultimate ION

We finished the paint with Ceramic Pro Ultimate ION, Ceramic Pro's premium ceramic coating system.

Ultimate ION creates a highly durable, hydrophobic surface designed to protect the paint while enhancing its appearance. Its hydrophobic properties cause water and contaminants to bead and release more easily from the surface.

But for a car like this, one of the biggest advantages of ceramic coating isn't simply the added protection—it's how much easier the car becomes to maintain.

A Cleaner Porsche With Less Effort

A beautiful 911 can be surprisingly difficult to keep clean. Dust, dirt, bugs, water spots, and other contaminants inevitably find their way onto the paint.

Ultimate ION creates a slick, hydrophobic surface that makes it harder for many contaminants to bond to the paint. During routine washing, dirt and grime can release more easily, helping reduce the effort required to maintain the vehicle's finish. Ceramic Pro specifically describes its ION coating as providing exceptional hydrophobicity and easier maintenance.

That means fewer hours fighting with the paint and more time enjoying the car.

And on Aventurine Green, that's exactly what you want—the ability to keep that deep, glossy finish looking freshly detailed without having to constantly work for it.

Protecting the Wheels and Calipers

The wheels and brake calipers received their own dedicated ceramic coating treatment.

For the wheel faces, we applied Ceramic Pro 9H. The barrels and brake calipers were treated with Ceramic Pro Strong.

This combination is designed specifically around one of the biggest maintenance challenges on a performance car: brake dust.

A Porsche 911 Carrera S produces plenty of brake dust during spirited driving, and without proper protection, that dust can quickly cover the wheels and become increasingly difficult to remove.

Why Coat the Wheels and Calipers?

Ceramic coatings create a hydrophobic, protective surface that helps reduce the adhesion of brake dust and road contaminants. Ceramic Pro's wheel and caliper coatings are specifically designed to withstand harsh conditions while making wheels easier to maintain.

With the wheel faces coated in Ceramic Pro 9H and the barrels and calipers treated with Ceramic Pro Strong, routine wheel cleaning becomes significantly easier.

Instead of aggressively scrubbing baked-on brake dust every time the Porsche is washed, contaminants can release much more easily from the coated surfaces.

That's the real benefit: not just cleaner wheels, but easier cleaning.

The Finished 911 Carrera S

The finished result is exactly what we want from a premium ceramic coating installation: a Porsche that looks incredible and is easier to live with.

The full paint correction brought out the depth and clarity of the Aventurine Green finish, while Ceramic Pro Ultimate ION added a durable, hydrophobic layer designed to help protect the paint and simplify maintenance.

The wheel and caliper coating package completes the protection by making one of the dirtiest areas of a performance vehicle significantly easier to clean.

For a vehicle like the Porsche 911 Carrera S, protection isn't just about preserving the investment. It's about making ownership more enjoyable.

Less time fighting dirt and brake dust. More time enjoying the car.
